Memorial day FUN!

Memorial Day Fun!

We had so much fun this past weekend! We left for Grandma's house on Friday afternoon. We stopped and picked up a little lunch and because of a malfunctioning garage door we ending up have a little picnic on their front lawn til Grandma came to let us in. We had fun playing and trying out the new swimming pool. Sammy and Emily enjoyed getting to be the ones to break the new blow up pool in. I took Mom and Dad for their Trader Joe's field trip. I think it went well and I hope that they will enjoy the good and good for you grub at my favorite store.

We spent the next fews days just playing with the kids and helping support each other in our quest for a smaller waistline. GO TEAM! We made food for the big party the next day. Memorial Day we were very blessed to have Eric and Kiahna bring the boys down so the Wild Bunch was together again!
As if that was not enough fun, Nan and her friend Patrick came down and stayed the day to play and get us caught up with her life and her boys. Monica, Abrek and his mother father and two sisters came to join s as well. They brought the fixing for snow cones which were a huge hit with kids and adults! Eric being the engineering type was a genius and quickly added the playset mom and dad had to the inflatable pool and made a party sensation! The kids had a great time and seemed to play all day on it nonstop. Even little Trevor got have his fun in the pool. They couldn't slide down it enough and then there was the squirt gun wars. It was sun, fun, good food and best of all family!

( on side note Lee was home working hard to clean the garage and to get speakers installed in the living room, he missed out on all the fun to try and make the house better. What a guy!)
