girls just wanna have fun!

... and cats too! Here is the birthday girl and her buddy sporting super cool rings! They made them from a kit that was given to Emily by her coolest Aunt Kiahna and cousins. THe gals had a great time, they ate popcorn, had treats, stayed up way too late watching movies and playing. All the required sleepover things. Luigi and Mario were pat of the party fun to, they tolerated getting dolled up in dress up clothes but did not get to make a ring pops. Emily and Charlie BFF's!

Flow seagulls and Faux hawks

Sammy came to me one day asking for a flow seagull.... and making some gesure at his head. I had no idea what he was asking for. I was spining in my head trying to figure what he meant. I went the way of "flock of seagulls" and their distinctive hair styles. COurse that left me with a whole new quandery as how my 6 year old had any idea about obscure 80's band and their trademark hair style!? Finally I figure out what he was wanitng was a faux hawk. Where you smoosh all the hair they have in the middle and make it stand up as straight as you can. Unfortunatly for Sam he has his mothers and father curly hair so he gets more curls than he might like but he still looks cool. How can you resist that FACE!!!
Sammy is telling me the photo of him tongue out and claws at the ready is his hawk face.
tremble in fear... or from supressed laugher like me.

Peas and Carrots

My twins....okay so they aren't twins. They are serpeated by 1 year 7 months and two seperate uteruses. But that never stops people from commenting on my twins. Serioulsy, how cute are they in matching shirt and pants even! The shirts were gifts from my mother that they think are the coolest things. I am truly blessed to have two kids who are crazy about each other. Sometimes more crazy than others, but there is no denying the love that these two have for each other. Siblings are special people, and it is my frevent prayer that these too continue to be the "peas and carrots" that they are today. They are very different, but both very good, and go well together.
